Gossip is a good thing...as long as you’re not the object of it.  On the other hand, the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about, according to Oscar Wilde.  The trick is to be talked about for all the right things -- like that one-shoulder ponte dress that makes you look incredibly svelte, the way you enthrall the new (male) interns with your stories about “the good old days” at the firm, and your raises-the-bar-considerably necklace of petite teal apatite rounds and larger sky blue jade.  Discuss.
