She didn't exactly want to mother guys, but clearly most of them could use a little guidance.  For example, their manners leave something to be desired (call if you say you're going to call); they can't dress themselves properly (no, a clean t-shirt does not constitute "dressing"); and microwaving frozen pizza isn't cooking (whatever).  On the other hand, nagging is no fun and just annoys both of you.  So praise him when he does the right thing, give him a treat when he's been an extra good boy, and groom him when he lets you (we are still talking about humans here, right?).  And by all means, let him take you to a fancy-schmancy trattoria once in a while so you, at least, can show off your sophistication with a bright beauty like this one of light fuchsia rounds and orange and deep magenta rondelles.
