When you're young, you look forward to going out with friends and kicking up your heels.  Fast forward a couple decades and the things you look forward to change.  Now I can't wait to dive into the stack of books on my nighttable.  And while the going out with friends part is still right up there, the kicking up my heels part, not so much.  But a good book can take you anywhere, requires no effort on your part, and elevates others' opinion of you (I damn well hope!).  Much like this boffo bling of gold chain, gold quatrefoil and a blue teardrop of sea glass will do.  So go read a book, will ya?!
