The physicians' oath to "Do No Harm" really applies to us all.  But in a mere mortal's case, it probably should be accompanied by a rule that says, "But take no shit."  In other words, be a good person, but not a doormat.  And what compliments a philosophy like this perfectly?  Why, a pair of drops that showcase your kindness and your strength  -- namely, these beauties of teal quartz rounds, blue glass rondelles, and matte silver marquis.  (OK, they don't really but what was I gonna say?)
