Women and men can both be accused of being single-minded.  It's well-established that most of the adult male population think about the same thing an 8th-grader does -- sex.  Women will also zero in laser-like on the object of their desire -- but it tends to lean in a decidedly more bling-y direction.  So while a woman may daydream about wearing this simple purple dyed jade bracelet with 22k gold-plated spacers, a man is more likely to daydream about her not wearing it (along with the rest of her attire).  Viva la difference!
