Sometimes you just have to steel yourself and do things you'd rather not.  Like breaking it to your BFF that you saw her beau making eyes at some loose woman at the local bar last night.  You're dreading it.  But if you shield yourself from the blowback by, say, wearing a stunner like this substantial piece of lavender quartz and a silver pendant, you'll avoid the worst of it.  Your friend?  Sorry -- can't help her.
