I'm not suggesting you lie, should you get caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.  But, knowing they'll question you endlessly, may I offer that it may make sense to get your story firmly together so as not to get tripped up.  I mean, you didn't do anything wrong.  (Right?)  Of course, the endless questioning may have more to do with your wearing of this unusual single strand of aquamarine resin rondelles and purple quartz than it does your guilt.  (It does, right?)
