Remember when you were first learning swear words?   They were verboten, of course, so you felt like a genuine outlaw when you used one.  Then, when you got older and could toss them around any time you wanted, they lost some of their allure.  May I just say that while profanity shouldn't be used so often as to become meaningless, it does have a time and place.  And feels dang good when used in just the right circumstances.  Of course, you will never be on the receiving end of such blasphemy -- except when someone exclaims (and they will), "Damn, she looks fine in that necklace of dyed blue jade rondelles and black metal spikes!"
