Sirens perched seductively on nearby rocks, according to Greek mythology, luring sailors to their deaths with enchanting music (did I mention they were also naked as jaybirds?). So alluring was their song that many a seaman lashed himself to the mast to avoid doom – to no avail. Today’s seductress needs no such trickery. A little smoke and mirrors, perhaps, but some fabulous eye candy – like this double strand of amazonite, red jasper and antiqued silver accents -- goes a long way toward reeling them in.
