How annoying it is when people suggest that if you behave the way they want you to, you'll get a reward of their choosing (as in, "Play your cards right, sweetheart, and you, too, could be cruising on my yacht").  Why would they think 1) you'd want to behave and 2) you'd want something they think is a reward?  It just goes to show how much more complicated you are than other people.  Deep, complex, and mysterious, actually.  Just like this unusual single strand of black onyx, purpled dyed jade, and resin discs.
